The questions that come up most, answered the way we would answer them standing in front of the grill with you.

How do I know a part fits?

Two ways, depending on the part. Hardware inside the cookbox matches by model code and by measurement, so you check the data label and then confirm the length. Covers, hoses, and mats match by tape measure alone. When a part page lists model numbers, those are the ones we measured against.

Where is the model number on my grill?

Usually on a metal or foil plate, and usually somewhere you have to crouch for. Look under the lid, on the inside of the cart door, on the back panel, or on the frame rail behind the wheels. Copy the whole string, letters and dashes included. On a lot of grills the number that matters is the long one, not the short one on the sticker near the burner knobs.

The label is gone. Now what?

Then measure. Pull the burner tube or the grate out and measure it end to end, along with the width across the cookbox. On a working grill those numbers narrow the choice down faster than a model code does anyway, because the code only tells you what the factory shipped, not what somebody swapped in since.

How do I measure for a cover?

Width across the widest point, depth from the front handle to the back of the lid with the lid down, and height from the ground to the top of the hood. Measure the grill, not the old cover, because old fabric has stretched. Leave the side shelves in whatever position you actually store them in.

Why does one burner run yellow?

Most often the tube itself. Ports clog with grease and spiders, and the metal thins from the inside until the flame pattern goes ragged on one side. Before replacing anything, take the tube out and look down the length of it. If the ports are open and even and the flame still runs low across every burner rather than one, the problem is upstream at the regulator or the hose instead.

Do you sell the grill itself?

No. Every item on this bench goes onto or over a cooker you already have. If you are shopping for a grill, this is the wrong catalog.

Why do brand names appear on a part page?

To tell you what the piece fits. That is the whole reason. We are not those companies and we do not speak for them, and a part from our bench has nothing to do with any coverage the grill maker offers on their own equipment.

Where does the order actually go?

To our retail partner. The buy button hands you across, and from that point the payment, the box, the delivery date, and anything that needs fixing afterward all live on their side. We hold the measurements. They hold the order.
