Those little green bottles frost over fast when you cook for a crowd on a flat top griddle. We braid this line with stainless steel wire over the rubber core and turn the ends out of solid brass. It lets you set the cooktop on the picnic table while the tall cylinder sits on the ground.

Braided metal sleeve

The outer sleeve is woven from stainless steel wire over the inner rubber line. It takes the scuffs from deck boards and keeps stray twigs from chewing through the jacket when you pack camp gear into the truck.

Solid brass ends

We cut the threaded ends from solid brass stock. The hand wheel gives you enough grip to start the threads straight onto the tank collar without dragging out an adjustable wrench from the toolbox.

Switching fuel sources

This line bridges the small regulator fitting on your portable table griddle over to the valve of a tall refillable cylinder. You can leave the small disposable canisters for quick park trips.

Checking the thread match

Before you hook things up, look at the inlet nipple on your griddle regulator. Make sure your portable burner uses the small bottle collar rather than a flared fitting, so the brass end seats flush.
