Blackstone griddles

Shelf: Grill and griddle covers
Material: 600D
Cut for: Blackstone griddles

Griddle tops gather morning damp and pollen fast when left out on the deck. We sew this cover from heavy polyester fabric with coated backing to drape over the hood and side shelves. It stays down in gusty weather and lets trapped air breathe out through the sewn vents.

Heavy woven polyester

The thick fabric takes the scraping on shelf corners without thinning out. Sunlight fades thin cloth by midsummer, so we use coated yarn that holds its body season after season on the patio.

Vents for airflow

Moisture collects under dark fabric after cold nights. Built-in vents allow air to circulate around the cooktop, which keeps damp air from sitting against the seasoned steel while the griddle waits for the next cookout.

Side straps hold down

Wind catches large covers like a sail and lifts them over the shelves. Buckle straps on both sides pull the cloth snug against the cart legs so sudden spring gusts cannot tug it loose.

Check the flat top shape

Measure your griddle with the shelves extended and the hood closed before choosing this cut. The seams follow the boxy outline of wide flat top cookers, draping straight down to clear the grease cup and wheels.
