When the old button stops clicking on the side shelf, this complete spark assembly swaps into place. We built the set around the side-mounted control layout, matching the collector box, leads, and switch to the original positions inside the cabinet grill.

Side shelf placement

This module is shaped specifically for cabinets with controls mounted on the right-hand shelf. Grills with burner knobs across the front use a different layout that will not line up with these mounting points.

Collector box and leads

The kit includes the metal spark chamber, the push-button switch, and the full wiring harness. You replace the entire electrical run in one pass rather than splicing old wires back together.

Battery compartment check

The push cap unscrews to accept a fresh small cell. Check that the metal contacts inside the switch body sit clean and straight before tightening the cap down against the outer grill shelf.

Matching the old hardware

Look at the position of your current starter button and compare the shape of the collector box near your main burners. Swapping the parts takes a screwdriver and a few minutes on a cool deck.
