When the firebox gets crusty and the flame turns yellow, replacing the tubes and shields together saves taking the cookbox apart twice. We stamp these flavor bars from heavy porcelain enameled steel and bend the burner tubes from stainless steel. They match three burner cabinet grills with front control knobs.

Matching burner tubes

We drill the gas ports along the stainless steel tubes to spread the flame evenly across the cookbox. The crossover piece connects them so the back tube catches from the front.

Porcelain enameled shields

Grease drops off the grates and hits the angled steel tents instead of pooling around the burners. The baked porcelain coating handles direct drippings and cleans up with a stiff grill brush.

Front control layout

These parts are cut for grills with the control knobs on the front face of the cabinet. They will not fit older fireboxes that run the burner controls along the right side shelf.

Drop in replacement

Lift out the greasy grates, lift the old rusted bars off their ledges, and unhook the old burner assembly. The new set rests on the existing cookbox tabs without cutting or drilling.
