Traeger and Pit Boss

Shelf: Grill-side gear
Cut for: Traeger and Pit Boss

Cooking low and slow on pellet grills leaves grates coated in sticky syrup and dark crust. We put together this cleaning tool using thick aramid fiber cloth instead of traditional wire bristles that can snap off. Dip the head in cold water, press it onto warm metal, and let the steam loosen the char.

Woven aramid head

Thick aramid fiber wraps around the cleaning pad, holding up to hot cooking grids. Wet the fiber before you scrub so the steam loosens grease, letting the soft cloth mold between round rods and flat bars without dropping loose wires.

Solid metal blade

A stiff stainless steel scraper sits at the front tip. Push it across cold or hot grates to lift hard charred sauce and heavy drippings before running the fiber pad over the metal to finish cleaning the surface.

Removable handle frame

The contoured handle gives you leverage to lean your weight into stubborn corners. It comes apart when you want to pack the tool away for a camp cookout, and the hanging loop retracts when you need it flat on a shelf.

Extra replacement pads

The pack includes extra fiber heads so you can swap out a worn cloth after a long season of smoking brisket. Run greasy heads through the dishwasher when they get dark, then clip them back onto the handle.
