Pushing the igniter button and hearing nothing usually means the old spark box is done. We build this push-button spark generator to drop into the front fascia of assorted cabinet gas grills from several makers. Match the spade terminals on the back to the models we list below.

Push button cap

The textured rubber button unscrews so you can slip a single small battery inside. Screwing the cap back down holds the battery in place against the internal spring contact.

Spade terminal posts

Wiring pushes straight onto the rear metal pins behind the grill panel. Check the pin layout on your old box before unhooking the wires so each lead returns to its proper spot.

Front panel mount

The threaded plastic body slips through the cutout on the grill frame. A wide plastic lock nut threads on from behind to seat the module flush against the exterior sheet metal.
