Old heat tents thin out, rust through, and collect burned drippings until your burners sit exposed. We stamp these from heavy porcelain enameled steel to catch grease drips and spread warmth across the cookbox. Lift your old shields out and check the end tabs against your cookbox ledges before setting these in.
Square cutout ends
We press two square holes into each end of the plate. These notches sit directly over the burner mounts or grill body brackets, keeping the tent centered without sliding loose.
Porcelain enameled steel
The thick coating over sheet steel keeps grease and salty marinades from eating into bare metal. Baked-on sauce scrapes off with a nylon grill brush once the metal cools down.
Shielding the ports
Dripping fat lands on the peaked ridge and slides into the drip area below rather than clogging open flame ports. It protects the burner tubes and stops direct grease contact.
