The old cover stiffens in the cold, splits along the barrel seams, and lets water sit against the hopper lid. We sew this replacement from heavy oxford cloth with double seams so rain rolls off instead of soaking through. The long side zipper lets you slip it over the chimney without wrestling the fabric.

Heavy oxford cloth

Thick woven fabric with a smooth inner backing keeps morning frost and summer sun off your pellet hopper and metal barrel. Dust wipes away with a wet rag.

Full side zipper
